Watch Glass- Zac Crane

The Watch Glass

A watch glass generally serves 2 purposes. The first purpose of a watch glass is a holding basin for chemicals to be heated up which in turn allows for closer observation of the effects of the heat on the chemicals. The second purpose it serves is simply a cover to place temporarily over beakers so that they won't be contaminated by particles in the air.
